I’ve started.
I’ve heard from some of you about the lack of me finishing what I started… aka getting idea happy and bolting over to the next shiny thing.
Guilty.
I’ve found it challenging to stay in the same world for an extended time when there’s so much else I want to explore, especially when that hit of joy is at its highest during the creation period. It’s hard to stay away from that seductive juice when you know it’s right around the corner.
But that’s not fair to the readers.
I think we all know someone who has been burned by authors who don’t follow through on specific series or are derailed by some other side project....

Remember a few weeks back when I said I had some other things in the work? Well, turns out it’s a book.
No, not the Shadow of the Dragod that i mentioned, or Stone of the Scarred, or even a new Chilongua story.
It’s a stand alone novel. One I wrote directly after I finished Shadow of the Dragon.

What’s that in the distance? An actual new book! I thought those things had gone extinct a couple years back?
So did I.
But I’ve been busy getting familiar with the blank page again and returning to dusty manuscripts that needed a hard shaking, some polish, and some air-drying for good measure.
What does that even mean?
It means, that I finally finished Shadow of the Dragod, Book 1 of the Dragod Saga, a brand-new series set in a post-apocalyptic fantasy universe that I like to equate to the Dark Sun universe created for D&D many moons ago.
