Shadow of the Dragod Release Date!

To quote the immortal Chris Farley, “Holy Schnikes!” Shadow of the Dragod actually has a release date.

After pouring sweat and tears over the calendar, trying to figure out how much time I need to actually market this bad larry, and estimating how many deep breaths I’ll need to take between now until the word “Published” is finally stamped on the book I have reached an official day when SOTD will be released into the world like the deranged, winged-beast of a book that it is…

November 7th!

Just in time for winter! So you can stay warm by reading through the pages of a world of leftover and still burning fire.  Nice and cozy… kind of… so long as you don’t mind the occasional monster running through the pages and uncontrollable magic that may or may not level whole towns…

Here’s the blurb I got so far:

A world consumed by fire. A boy with a mysterious power. A perilous journey to undo the wrath of a dragon larger than the heavens.

In a world ravaged by the ancient Dragod’s apocalyptic flames, Blain Aldaldin, an apprentice scribe, seeks to restore order by reviving the written word of lost languages.

When prophecies arise and demonic creatures emerge from the still-burning fires once unleashed by the slain god, and glimmers of hope appear in the distant ash, Blain’s journey takes an unimaginable turn.

Forced from the safety of the world’s last library, he confronts the devastation firsthand and must discover his true purpose: to remain a mere recorder of the world’s extinction or become the one destined to bring it back from the brink.

For fans of the Dungeon and Dragon’s campaign setting, Dark Sun, and Mark Lawrence’s Broken Empire Trilogy, take the first step into a grim, unforgiving world of magic, monsters, and madness spawned from the relentless crimson flames unleashed by a vengeful god.

If this seems up your alley and you want an early review copy of the book, let me know! Shoot me message at hallwaytoelsewhere@gmail.com and I can send you over an ARC prior to Nov 7th, free o’ charge!

As I’ve mentioned before in other blogs, this one has been a long time coming. Had to work through a lot of mental strain and stresses to get this one out there, but I like to think it’s been worth it.

The world of SOTD is a savage one, and because of that, it’s been really fun to explore and create. In turn, I hope you’ll have fun exploring it and all the characters that (are left) to inhabit it.

So mark you calenders, Fellow Creatures! November 7th is the date.

Tell a friend. Tell a family member. Tell a banshee if you come across one so that she may scream it from the top of her lungs (and earn residuals from me for the marketing help.)

Either way, I appreciate you stopping by. Stay tuned here for more updates coming soon.

Stone of the Scarred is very much in progress, and I am still very much creating a game plan for my stand alone novel that’s currently done.

Stay surreal!
