Donation Time!

Hey there, Fellow Creatures!
After a couple of months’ hiatus as previously mentioned, I am easing my way back into writing and updating you all on my progress.

What have I been up to during break?

Getting acclimated to having the new pup, coaching the kiddos’ basketball teams, and playing a helluva lot of Baldur’s Gate 3 (which I can happily report has lived up to the hype and more)… just to name a few activities.

But more on my time away later.

The purpose of this post is to circle back on a pledge made during the release of Shadow of the Dragod back in November.

It’s hard to believe, but it’s been 3 months since the book dropped. Before its release, in hopes of generating reviews and some buzz, I told y’all that I would donate $1 for reach review to the Ride 4 Claire organization which supports Children’s Hospital of Boston and their pursuit to fight childhood cancer and send out the results here.

Alas, reviews haven’t trickled in as fast as I had hoped, and am currently sitting with a solid 2, 5-star reviews on Amazon today.

That would mean only donating $2 to the cause, which just isn’t enough. So I rounded up the donation to $60, which felt like a slightly more impactful amount.

While I wish I could add many more zeros to that number, the books and the day job aren’t printing enough money to make that a reality… at least not yet.

For now, a big thank you to all those who have bought the book, left reviews and spread the word on it.  It’s slowly finding its audience and I’m extremely thankful for all of you have done to support it.

It means the world!

I’m already looking forward to diving further into the world of the Dragod soon and will continue to find opportunities to support organizations like Boston Children’s Hospital and Ride 4 Claire along the way.

I hope you’ll continue on the journey with me!

More to come soon.

Until then,

Stay lovely to each other!

-Jeff
