I hope this message from Elsewhere finds you splendid. Casco and I are just starting in the throes of the springtime heat now that all the rain and dreariness seem to have subsided here in New England.
I think Casco prefers the rain. Too hot for a long-haired pup like him in Elsewhere.

I hope all is good in thy woods. Casco and I coming at you today from a journey deep into Elsewhere, where we’ve started really getting back into the swing of this whole writing thing.
I’ve been averaging progress on Sin of the Scarred, book 3 of the Scarred World saga, on a daily basis and making headway into the story. As of posting this, I’m just a little under 44k words!
While I've still got around 60k left to go, this feels like a big win to turn the ship around and start heading in the right direction.

Happy New Year, Fellow Creatures! Hope your holidays were fantastic (or still are if you’re still celebrating.)
Can’t believe 2025 is here! I feel this way at the start of a new year, but I sense great hope and ambition in the air and I’m trying to capitalize on that a bit with writing Sin of the Scarred.
As of writing this I’m about 14k into book 3 of the Scarred World Saga with still plenty more to go.
All this is to say, I’m going silent until the start of February on the blog and social (though I’ll still be active on my Newsletter) so I can concentrate on a big push for book 3.
