Shadow of the Dragod is OUT!

Shadow of the Dragod is officially out on both Ebook and Kindle!

It’s here!

Run like a giant dragon is chasing you to tell a friend, write a review, or give it a read (so long as you’re into YA dystopian fantasy.)

As mentioned in my most recent email, it’s been a while since I’ve published anything new so I am both excited, nervous, and pretty darn tired.  This one has been years in the making, but after many stops and starts, and a couple rewrites, the day has come to release it into the world.

Here’s the blurb if you haven’t glanced at it yet:

A world consumed by fire. A boy with a mysterious power. A perilous journey to undo the wrath of a dragon larger than the heavens.

In a world ravaged by the ancient Dragod’s apocalyptic flames, Blain Aldaldin, an apprentice scribe, seeks to restore order by reviving the written word of lost languages.

When prophecies arise and demonic creatures emerge from the still-burning fires once unleashed by the slain god, and glimmers of hope appear in the distant ash, Blain’s journey takes an unimaginable turn.

Forced from the safety of the world’s last library, he confronts the devastation firsthand and must discover his true purpose: to remain a mere recorder of the world’s extinction or become the one destined to bring it back from the brink.

For fans of the Dungeon and Dragon’s campaign setting, Dark Sun, and Mark Lawrence’s Broken Empire Trilogy, take the first step into a grim, unforgiving world of magic, monsters, and madness spawned from the relentless crimson flames unleashed by a vengeful god.

Though the blurb mentions Blain as the main character, there’s a total of 3 POVs in this one, which explains the size of it. The book is the longest I’ve ever written coming in at 722 print pages or just over 260k words. So it’ll be a journey, but hopefully one that’s fun and energetic the whole way through.

The best part is, if you read the book and leave a rating or review on Amazon by February 7th, $1 will be donated to the Ride 4 Claire Foundation, which supports 100% of donations to Children’s Hospital of Boston. As explained in my previous post, this org is near and dear to my heart and happy to look for any reason to support it. All it takes is a couple of clicks to show your honest opinion about the book and help to boost the book’s signal and you join in on the fight against cancer.

Alright. That’s it for now. I’m off to either go for a long walk or take a long nap. Both feel needed today…

As always, thanks for reading Fellow Creatures, and thanks for all the support! Y’all make dreams come true.

Stay sweet,

-Jeff
